Donald R. “Skip” Krill, age 93, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a long-time Williams County resident, passed away at 9:35 A.M. on Friday, October 23, 2015, at the Hospice of Cincinnati-Blue Ash Unit. Skip was a farmer and was a custodian and bus driver for the Bryan City Schools. He had also worked at the Red & White grocery store in Bryan as an Assistant Manager and was Manager of the Archbold store. He attended First Baptist Church in Bryan, was a member of Pheasants Forever and was a Board member of the Williams County Historical Society. Donald R. “Skip” Krill was born on June 19, 1922, in Bryan, Ohio. the son of Samuel F. and Mary Lowe (Dickinson) Krill. He married Wilma E. Rickner on January 28, 1945, in Montpelier, Ohio, and she survives. Skip is also survived by his daughters, Gwen Shadley, of Randolph, Wisconsin, Beth (Gary) Roberts, of Texas, Pam (Tim) Skovmand, of San Jose, California, and Mary (Dan) Duncan, of Morrow, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Arthur, Edwin and John Krill, and sisters, Ruth Rutter, Lucille Trippy and Edna Schott. Visitation for Donald R. “Skip” Krill will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Grave side funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at Brown Cemetery with Pastor John MacFarlane officiating. Memorials are requested to Hospice of Cincinnati or the First Baptist Church in Bryan.
