Ralph L. Krill, age 91, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 4:25 A.M. on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Vancrest of Antwerp Assisted Living, where he was a resident. Mr. Krill was a 1942 graduate of Edgerton High School and served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a man of many talents and had operated Krill Electric and Appliance in Edgerton for more than thirty years, working well into his 80's. Ralph was a lifelong member of the Emanuel United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Men, and Edgerton Masonic Lodge #357, F & AM and served on the Edgerton Village Council, where he was instrumental in the building of a new library and community center for senior citizens. Ralph L. Krill was born on September 2, 1924, near Edgerton, the son of Paul D. and Rosa Christine (Valet) Krill. He married Mary E. Unger on November 10, 1946, in Edgerton and she preceded him in death on April 10, 2011. Survivors include one daughter, Kathy (Larry) Lineberger, of Edgerton; two sons, David (Linda) Krill and Neil (Sharon) Krill, both of Edgerton; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, Dale Krill, of Edgerton. He was preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law, Leona and Wayne Betts, and a sister-in-law, Carol Krill. In accordance with his wishes, Ralph has gifted his body to the University of Toledo Medical College for studies. Private interment will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery at a later date.
