Patrick A. Thiel

Patrick A. Thiel, age 52, of Bryan, Ohio, and a lifelong resident of the Edon, Ohio, area, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015, in his home. Mr. Thiel was a 1982 graduate of Edon High School and was currently employed by Bryan Packaging. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Blakeslee, Ohio, and was a member of Knights of Columbus Council #3883 and also the Bishop Rappe Assembly. Patrick A. Thiel was born on September 28, 1963, in Bryan, the son of Ronald R. and Gaylan J. (May) Thiel. Survivors include his parents, Ron and Gaylan Thiel, of Edon; four sons, Travis Thiel, of Edon, Trevor Thiel, of Edon, Austin Thiel, of Bryan, and Preston Thiel, of Edon; one daughter, Chloe Thiel, of Edon; four sisters, Yvonda (Curtis) Stantz, of Wauseon, Ohio, Cheryl Fenstermaker, of Edon, Michele (Joseph) Headley, of Edon, and Rachael (Jeremy) Welch, of Edgerton; and one brother, Chris (Janis) Thiel, of Edgerton. Services will be private with interment in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, near Blakeslee. Memorials are requested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
