Joyce A. (Johnson) Eberly, age 69, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 12:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she was a patient after a brief illness. Joyce was a lifelong area resident and a 1964 graduate of Edgerton High School. As a cancer survivor, she was active in the Living with Cancer Support Group and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She especially enjoyed the Bryan Senior Center, being around kids and her beloved dogs. Joyce A. (Johnson) Eberly was born on September 18, 1945, the daughter of Ezra and Rose Mary (Cape) Johnson. Survivors include her loving companion of many years, Ed Clinker; one daughter, Amy M. Eberly, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; one son, Jack J. “Jay” Eberly, Jr., of St. Joe, Indiana; one granddaughter, Rebecca Eberly, of Heartville, Ohio; her mother, Rose Mary Johnson, of Edgerton, Ohio; two sisters, Dawne Beverly, of Bradenton, Florida, and Kellie Osborn, of Hamilton, Indiana; and two brothers, Benson Johnson, of Edgerton, and Guy Johnson, of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her father, Ez Johnson, in 2004. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, from 4:00-800 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with a scripture service at 8:00 P.M. Services will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bryan with Father James Halleron officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Edgerton. Memorials are requested to Living with Cancer Support Group or to the Bryan Senior Center.
