Donna J. Smith, age 77, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2015, at Genesis HealthCare-Bryan Center. Donna had worked at Bryan Custom Plastics in Bryan as a finisher. She was a member of the New Beginnings Church in Montpelier, Ohio, formerly Central United Brethren Church, and was active in the Women’s Missionary Association at the church. She had been an active bowler and had volunteered for 13 years at Harborside Health Care in Bryan, now Genesis HealthCare-Bryan Center. Donna was born on January 10, 1938, in Montpelier, Ohio, the daughter of Clarence A. and Clarice I. (Mercer) Malone. Donna was a graduate of Montpelier High School. She married Roger B. Smith in Montpelier on November 26, 1970, and he survives. Donna is also survived by her stepdaughters, Linda (Bob) Smallwood, Lori Smith and Leanne (Cliff) Johnson, all of Mesa, Arizona; ten grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Beck, of Archbold, Carolyn (Lyle) Starr, of East Burke, Vermont, Alice (Keith) Hancock, of Bryan, and Audrey Fast, of Bryan; a brother-in-law, Robert (Carol) Smith, of Milford, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two grandchildren and a brother, Richard A. Malone. Visitation for Donna J. Smith will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00- 8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 6, 2015, at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Martinelli officiating. Burial will follow at Shiffler Cemetery. Memorials in the name of Donna J. Smith may be given to the New Beginnings Church.
