Donna Joan Lemons (JoAnn to those who knew her well), age 85, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away at 7:15 P.M. on Friday, May 8, 2015, in her home, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Lemons was a 1947 graduate of Bryan High School and a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds, her beloved dogs and being with her children and grandchildren. Donna Joan Lemons was born on December 20, 1929, in Jefferson Township near West Unity, Ohio, the daughter of Jay D. and Agatha Mae (Gaskill) Garber. She married James A. Lemons on June 7, 1963, in Angola, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on September 2, 2008. Mrs. Lemons is survived by her five children, Cathy Greek Bockover, of Titusville, Florida, Brad (Nancy) Greek, of St. Paris, Ohio, Jeff (Aimee) Greek, of Austin, Texas, Judy (Bob) Greek Hartman, of Bryan, and Greg (Angie) Lemons, also of Bryan; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert Garber, of Orange, California. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home at 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Private grave side service will be held in Fountain Grove Cemetery in Bryan, Ohio, with Reverend Mary Beth Smith-Gunn officiating. Memorials are requested to the Williams County Humane Society.
