Hazel Killian Robinson, age 94, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 7:20 A.M. on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the Village of Hillside Country Living where she was resident. Mrs. Robinson was a lifelong resident of Bryan and was a graduate of Bryan High School. She was employed as a cashier with the Kroger company in Bryan and Defiance, Ohio retiring with thirty years of service. As an active member of the Lick Creek Church of the Brethren, she served as a Deacon, managed the kitchen for many years and served as a care giver to many. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking and baking and it was often said that she always had her hands in either dirt or dough. Most all she enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Hazel Killian Robinson was born on February 2, 1921, in Bryan, the daughter of Edward J. and Ruby Alice (Rowe) Killian. She married Eugene D. Robinson on June 16, 1940, in Bryan and he preceded her in death on January 6, 2000. Survivors also include one son,Lynn (Billie) Robinson, of North Ridgeville, Ohio, one daughter, Marcia L. (Bruce) Raymond, of Rochester, Michigan, five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Marshall Killian. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. in the Lick Creek Church of the Brethren in Bryan. Interment will follow in Brown Cemetery, near Bryan. Memorials are requested to Lick Creek Church of the Brethren or a charity of the donor’s choice.
