Margaret E. "Kork" Sanders, age 87, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she was a patient after an extended illness. Mrs. Sanders was a 1946 graduate of Edgerton High School and an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Edgerton, the Rosary Altar Society and the Do-It-Right Farm Bureau Council and was active in the community of Edgerton. She was a talented furniture refinisher, for many years took care of the elderly shut-ins around town and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Margaret E. Sanders was born on February 4, 1928, near Butler, Indiana, the daughter of Russel L. and Ruby H. (Platt) Jennings. She married Roy B. Sanders on October 19, 1946, in Edgerton, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on January 30, 2001. Mrs. Sanders is survived by two sons, Mike (Jenny) Sanders, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Doug (Sandy) Sanders, of Hebron, Kentucky; two daughters, Martha (Richard) Esoldo, of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, and Rita (Cletus) Herman, of Edgerton; twenty-one grandchildren; fifty great-grandchildren; one sister, Maxine Sanders, of Edgerton; and three sisters-in-law, Mary Sanders and Phyllis Jennings, both of Edgerton, and Avis (Bud) Baird, of Butler, Indiana; and a brother-in-law, Tony (Kathy) Sanders, of Toledo, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, Paul and Kenneth Jennings, and two sisters, Wilma Armstrong and Evelyn Gift. Services for Margaret E. Sanders will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Mary Catholic Church, Edgerton, with Reverend David Cirata officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Edgerton. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, from 2:00-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 29, 2015. A scripture service will be held at 8:00 P.M. on Sunday. Memorials are requested to St. Mary Catholic School in Edgerton.
