Frank George Koch, 77, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on March 20, 2015, at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, after a brief illness. He was a bridge and road construction worker and member of the Ohio Laborer District Council. Frank was a train buff and enjoyed reading and visiting his grandchildren. He was a lifelong member of First Lutheran Church of Bryan and several area VFW and American Legion Posts. Frank was born on January 22, 1938, in West Unity, Ohio, a son of George and Eva (Beaverson) Koch. He was a graduate of West Unity High School and served in the U.S. Army. Frank married Lucy Clark on September 25, 1965, and she survives in Bryan. In addition to his wife, survivors also include his daughters, Mary Kaye Davis and husband Jimmy, of Broughton, Illinois, and Jennifer Stephens and husband Jack, of Xenia, Ohio; two granddaughters, Samantha Jo Davis and Sarah Jane Davis, of Broughton and a grandson, Jacob Hunter Stephens, of Xenia; a brother, Paul (Hilda) Koch, of West Unity; a sister, Anne (Jim) Stahl, of Commerce, Texas; sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Faber, of Edgerton, Lynnette Dull and Jeanette Presley, both of Indiana and Nancy Clifton, of Montpelier; a brother-in-law, George Clark, of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Jonas Ethan Vreeland, a brother, Darrell Koch, and a sister, Arlene Carroll. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015, from 5:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry, Bryan, and one hour prior to the funeral on Friday. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. in the First Lutheran Church with Pastor Richard Franks officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan. Memorials are requested to an organization of the donor’s choice.
