Deloris Louise Stockman, age 78, of Bryan, Ohio, peacefully reached out and took the hand of her Heavenly Father and followed him home on Sunday, March 15, 2015, with her work here on earth done. She is no longer tired, scared or in pain, has her youthful body back and is enjoying every second of it. She is now playing her piano and singing gospel hymns with the angels, her beloved Elvis and a couple of good looking guitar players. She supported her family for many years by working at Johns-Manville in Defiance, Ohio. Deloris Louise Stockman was born on September 26, 1936, in Liberty Center, Ohio, the daughter of Irel and Hester (Overmeyer) Ashbaugh and they were the first to welcome her to her Heavenly Home. She was a loving mother of seven children that she gave breath to, Katherine Muncy, of Continental, Ohio, Tammy Dockery, of Bryan, Brenda (Curtis) O’Connor, of Ney, Ohio, Isaac (Sebrena) Dockery, of Continental, Shelly Dockery, of Ottawa, Ohio, Ann (Thomas) Felix, of Bryan, and Kristi (Toby Meyer) Badgley; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Leona (Richard) Wright, of Defiance; and one brother, Jay (Diane) Ashbaugh, of Woodburn, Indiana. Also preceded her to her Heavenly Home were one granddaughter, Lisa Bruce, one great-granddaughter, Carlee Ramon, and two sons-in-law, Dennis Badgley and Lonnie Muncy. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-800 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services celebrating the life of Deloris Louise Stockman will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with David Nicholls officiating. Interment will follow in Ney Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the family for final expenses. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Bryan Hospital for being there for our mom. She was ready to go home.
