Thelma E. Clark, age 78, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015, in her home. Mrs. Clark was a 1954 graduate of Bryan High School and a homemaker. She enjoyed the simple things in life, had a big heart, always thinking of others first, and will be missed by many. Thelma E. Clark was born on March 24, 1936, in West Unity, Ohio, the daughter of Homer and Myrtle (Allomong) Hendricks. She married Doyle W. Clark on August 7, 1954, in Angola, Indiana, and he survives. Survivors also include two sons, Douglas Clark and Christopher (Sherry) Clark, both of Bryan; four grandchildren, Jason Clark, Holly Shockley, Christopher Gyurnek and Stephanie Payne; and three great-grandchildren, Gavin Shockley, Logan Clark and Garrett Shockley. She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Hendricks, and one sister, Anna Murray. In keeping with Thelma’s wishes, services and interment in Shiffler Cemetery will be private. Memorials are requested to the Foundation for Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders.
