William “Bill” W. Kohl, age 79, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 9:50 P.M. on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice near Defiance, Ohio. Bill was a welder and worked at Challenge-Cook for 30 years, then Robinair until his retirement. He was a member of the House of Prayer in Montpelier, Ohio, and a life member of the Montpelier Eagles. William W. Kohl was born on April 27, 1935, in Pioneer, Ohio, the son of Ellsworth A. and Mazel A. (Smith) Kohl. Bill attended the Hay Jay one room schoolhouse and Montpelier High School. He married Verna “Susie” Cook in Montpelier on April 27, 1957, and she survives. Also surviving are his children, Molly (Kevin) Wolff, of Bryan, Marvin (Sherri) Kohl, of Blakeslee, Ohio, and Connie (Steve) Boyd, of Montpelier; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Howard Fox, of Adrian, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Josie (Kohl) Davis, and sisters, Beatrice Carter and Janice Fox. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2015, from 1:00-3:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 P.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Don Harris officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Montpelier. Memorials are requested to Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice.
