Virginia Rose Barron, age 89, formerly of Hamilton, Indiana, died at 2:05 A.M. on Monday, January 19, 2015, at Covington Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she was a resident, after a brief illness. Mrs. Barron was a homemaker and a member of the Alvarado, Indiana, United Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge of Hamilton. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and reading. Virginia Rose Barron was born on August 11, 1925, in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, the daughter of James and Pauline (Scott) Tageson. She married Duane Barron on August 5, 1944, in Angola, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on November 19, 1992. Survivors include two sons, James (Kathy) Barron, of Ft. Wayne, and Robert Tageson, of Hamilton; six grandchildren, Shawn Tageson, April Jackson, Jarred and Timothy Burns, Brittany Outlaw and Erica Barron; and nine great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, James and Robert Tageson. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2014, from 6:00-7:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, Ohio, followed by a memorial service at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Reed Lessing officiating.
