Frederick Otto Hoch, 83, of Bradenton, Florida, a longtime resident of Edgerton, Ohio passed away unexpectedly January 8, 2015 with his loving wife and daughter by his side. He was a Korean War veteran having served 8 years in the US Army. He was employed at 50 Division of Hayes-Albion Corp. in Bryan, OH for nearly 40 years in the tool and dye department. Upon his retirement he moved to Bradenton in which he became a dedicated community servant. He enjoyed wood working in which he made many projects for family and friends who will cherish his work for many generations to come. He leaves behind his beloved wife of over 62 years Lois (Rowlison) Hoch; son, Mark (Cheri) Hoch, of Jacksonville, Florida; daughter, Julie Hoch, of Bradenton; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Juarez and Anna Thiel and many dear family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his eldest son, James, his brother, Herbert and sister, Ruth Fee. A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Trailer Estates Community Hall. Burial will be held at the Sarasota National Cemetery, Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to any hospice center of choice. Funeral arrangements are being made by Brown and Sons Funeral Homes, Bradenton, Florida.
