Thomas Wesley Climo, age 91, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 12:15 P.M. on Friday, October 17, 2014, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice, near Defiance, Ohio. Mr. Climo was a clerk at Spangler Candy & Tobacco for 30 years prior to his retirement. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the South Pacific. Thomas was a member of the Lick Creek Church of the Brethren, the Bryan American Legion Post 284, the National Rifle Association and the Buckeye Sheriffs’ Association. Thomas Wesley Climo was born on November 12, 1922, in Hudson, Michigan, the son of Arthur Thomas and Lucille Bernice (Radabaugh) Climo. He married Yvonne Lenore Cook on May 16, 1947, in Bryan, and she preceded him in death. Mr. Climo is survived by his sons, Dr. Randy (Claire) Climo, of Perrysburg, Ohio, and Lonnie (Amy) Climo, of Spring, Texas; a grandson, Ryan (Laurel) Climo, of Eustis, Florida; three great-grandsons, Reese, Cole and Ryder Climo, all of Eustis, Florida; sisters, Verda Crisenbery, of Bryan and Virginia Goodremont, of Toledo; and special friend, Mary Ann Jones, of Bryan. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Yvonne L. Climo; brother, Charles Climo; and sister, Ruth Crisenbery. Visitation for Thomas W. Climo will be held on Monday, October 20, 2014, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, in the funeral home with Dr. Nancy Berkheiser officiating. Interment will be in Floral Grove Cemetery, Pioneer, Ohio. Memorials are requested to Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center or the Wounded Warrior Project.
