Cathy Jo Hubert

Cathy Jo (Thomas) Hubert, age 58, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 5:30 A.M. on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan after a three-year battle with cancer. Cathy was a 1974 graduate of Edgerton High School and was employed by the Bryan Medical Group for thirty-eight years. She was a member of the Bryan First Church of Christ. Her greatest joys in life were making cards for the special events of family and friends, feeding the wildlife around her home and especially going out to eat every Friday evening on her weekly date night with her husband, Rick. Cathy was also an active Relay for Life participant with her husband for ten years. Cathy Jo Hubert was born on November 11, 1955, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Leo F. and Ruth A. (McClure) Thomas. She married Richard W. Hubert, Jr. on October 23, 1976, in Bryan and he survives. Also surviving are her parents, Leo and Ruth Thomas, of Bryan, one sister, Barbara (Jef Frame) Thomas, of Bryan, numerous cousins, and her protector and Jeep riding buddy, her St. Bernard, Joey. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2014, from 2:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held on Monday, October 13, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor Larry Snavely officiating. Interment will follow in Yackee Cemetery near Bryan. Memorials are requested to Relay for Life, Team Anderson Vreeland.
