Geraldine "Jeri" Brand

Geraldine “Jeri” (Stahl) Brand, age 97, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 8:10 P.M. on Sunday, September 28, 2014, at Park View Nursing Center, where she was a resident. For many years Jeri was the apartment manager at the Marathon Apartments in Findlay, Ohio, prior to moving to Edgerton in retirement. Geraldine B. Brand was born on June 15, 1917, in Wauseon, Ohio, the daughter of Roy and Doris (DeGroff) Stahl. Survivors include one daughter, Connie Babb, Edgerton; two grandsons, Mark Allen (Candy) Babb and Shawn Lee (Lisa) Babb; four great-grandchildren, Austin Allen Babb, Bailee Babb, Paityn Babb and Taelor Zimmer; one great-great-grandchild completing five generations in the family, Sofia Babb; and two step-great-grandchildren, Gavin and Kyler. Also surviving is one brother, Lee Roy “Curly” Stahl, of Monroe, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, her twin, Beryldine Stahl, Gene Gallant and Kathryn Young; one brother, Oliver Stahl; and her husbands, Raymond Gorno and Stan Brand. There will be no visitation or services at this time. Interment will be private. Krill Funeral Service has been entrusted with arrangements.
