Larry Jack Jackson, age 61, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 6:38 P.M. on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, in his home, surrounded by his family and friends. Jack had an Associate Degree in electronics and was employed as a computer technician and also operated his own truck contracting business with Bryan Truck Lines for many years. A well-known musician, he played lead guitar with many bands in the tri-state area. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider and was devoted to his family and friends, beloved by all who knew him. Larry Jack Jackson was born on November 15, 1952, near Bryan, Ohio, the son Howard L. and Doris I. (Jack) Jackson. Survivors included his mother, Doris Lawter, of Bryan; one brother, Pete Jackson, of Bryan; one sister, Judy Maynard Roberts, of Bryan; six children, including Sonya Parsons, of Bryan; three stepchildren, Nicole Mayes, Vandee (Josh) Salay and Jay Mayes, all of Defiance, Ohio; and one granddaughter, Ive. He was preceded in death by his father and one infant son. A Celebration of Life for Jack will be held at a later date. Memorials are requested to the family to help with expenses.
