William "Bill" J. Beber

William “Bill” J. Beber, age 57, of Edgerton and formerly of Bryan, passed away at his home. Bill did his undergraduate work in music at Indiana University with a concentration in voice with a secondary study in piano and conducting. His graduate work was in vocal performance at Butler University. He had been an instructor at Lewis Music Studio in Bryan since 2002, was a member of the Northwest Ohio Music Teacher's Association and has sung with several opera companies in the tri-state area, with the Bryan Madrigal Chorale and has been a vocal coach and accompanist for the Williams County Playhouse, the Edgerton High School Choir and for soloists from the Edgerton and North Central Schools. Currently he was organist, choir director and parish music director for St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bryan, as well as being a member of the parish. William J. Beber was born August 14, 1956 in Garrett, Indiana, the son of William E. and Josephine M. (Mikielski) Beber. Bill received a Masters of Arts degree in Music from IPFW. A Memorial Mass for Bill will be celebrated on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father James Halleron officiating. Burial at Calvary Cemetery in Garret, Indiana will be at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. The family requests any memorial donations be made to the St. Patrick School.
