Eula Jean McGuire, age 80, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Center in Montpelier. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God in Bryan. Eula Jean was born on August 27, 1933, in Pikeville, Kentucky, the daughter of Alex and Flory (Harrison) Slone. She is survived by her children, Peggy (Hal) Harvey, of Bryan, David McGuire, of Bryan, Connie (John) Bishop, of Bryan and Lisa (Wayne) DeLong III, of Dacula, Georgia; five grandchildren, Bernie (Tonya) Harvey, Amie (Nolan) Lower, Ashley DeLong, Alex DeLong and Rick (Stephanie) Bishop; six great grandchildren; five step great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Monroe McGuire, great grandson, Noah Fry and brothers, Ballard, Avery and Elmer Slone and her sister, Mavis Charles. Funeral services for Eula Jean McGuire will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014, at 3:00 P.M. in the First Assembly of God church, 1105 Alpine Drive, Bryan with Pastor Kevin Boulis officiating. Burial at Fountain Grove Cemetery will follow the service. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the church and one hour prior to the service. Funeral services are under the care and direction of Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Memorial contributions are requested to the American Heart Association.
