Morris “Mose” Frappier, age 85, son of Edward L. and Blanche Frappier, died on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at the Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice facility. Morris “Mose” Frappier was born on August 25, 1928, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a loving husband and father. Mose was a machinist at General Motors in Defiance for over 30 years. Mose served in the U.S. Navy at the close of World War II. He was also a builder and flyer of model airplanes all his life. He was instrumental in starting the Model Airplane Boys Club in Montpelier. Mose was also a carpenter and never saw a thing he couldn’t fix. He is survived by his loving wife, Jacky; four children, Morris Lee (Kacee) Frappier, of Ney, Steven L. (Susan) Frappier, of Montpelier, Candi (Scott) DeVlaminck, of West Unity, and Cherie (Nancy) McCarthy, of Fresno, California; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gus (Ellie) Frappier, of Bryan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Blanche, and brother, Ed Frappier, Jr. Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. at Fountain Grove Cemetery in Bryan with Pastor Ron Adkins officiating. Graveside military rites will be provided by the Bryan VFW Post 2489. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice facility.
