Ian Ingram, age 84, of Portland, Oregon, died at 8:15 P.M. on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at Marquis Autumn Hills Memory Care in Portland, where he was a resident. Mr. Ingram was a graduate of Edon High School and of the University of Toledo School of Pharmacy. He began his work as a pharmacist in New Mexico and later moved to the Oregon coast, where he owned a drug store for 25 years. Ian Ingram was born on March 5, 1929, in Alvarado, Indiana, the son of Clarence and Beatrice (Morley) Ingram. He married Alice Brandt in 1954 in Seattle, Washington, and she survives. Survivors include his daughter, Ellen; sons, Dale, Forrest and Peter; his grandchildren, Glenn, Niehls, Carolyn, Sonia and Adrienne; sisters, Bonnie Reas and Kathi Stevens; nieces and nephews; and a cousin, Connie Dewire. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Nancy Beecher and Gene Poling, and three brothers, Don, Walter and Jim Ingram. A memorial service celebrating the life of Ian Ingram will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. at Krill Funeral Home in Edon. Grave side services will follow in the Edon Cemetery at 3:00 P.M.
