Gayle L. Lang

Gayle L. Lang, age 67, of Defiance, Ohio, passed away at 8:27 A.M. on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she had been a patient. Gayle was a homemaker and caretaker for her grandson, Peyton. Gayle was born on July 5, 1946, in Defiance, Ohio, the daughter of Ralph G. and Gloria L. (Thompson) Johnson. She was a graduate of Hamilton (Indiana) High School and married Donald Lang, who preceded her in death. Gayle is survived by her grandson, Peyton Lang, of Defiance, and sisters, Gloria (David) Prough, of Leo, Indiana, Lynn LaLonde, of Edgerton, Ohio, and Judith Harger, of Butler, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; daughter, Paige Lang; and a sister, Lee Ann Wertman. Grave side funeral services for Gayle L. Lang will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. at Floral Grove Cemetery, West Unity, Ohio. Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, has been entrusted with her services. Memorial contributions are requested to the family for a Memorial Fund for Peyton Lang.
