Betty J. Mills, age 87, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away at 12:32 P.M. on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Hillside Country Living near Bryan, where she had been a resident. She had worked at the former Red & White Grocery in Bryan. Betty was a homemaker and a member of the Phi Beta Psi Sorority. Betty was born on October 12, 1926, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Judson and Pearl (Warren) Robinett. She was a graduate of Bryan High School. Betty married Thomas C. Mills on October 13, 1944 in Fort Wayne, Indiana and he preceded her in death. Betty is survived by her daughters, Connie Sabins, of Harrisburg, North Carolina and Kathy (Ted) James, of Bryan; her son, Mark Mills, of Bryan; grandchildren, W. Aric (Kris) Sabins, of Roxboro, North Carolina, Tiffani (Jason) Cochran, of Harrisburg, North Carolina, Nathan (Thonda) James, of Bryan and Christine Mills, of Bryan and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Wesley Sabins; daughter-in-law, Debra Mills; grandson, Tyrone James; brothers, Clare, Nevit, Judson and Kenneth and sisters, Marge, Veda "Bee", Ruby, Bernice, Doris and Rita. Graveside funeral services for Betty J. Mills will be held later this summer at Brown Cemetery. Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan has been entrusted with Betty’s arrangements.
