Aide E. Castillo, age 62, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away at 2:22 A.M. on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan, where she had been a patient. She retired from Spangler Candy Company as a candy maker with more than 30 years of service. Aide loved gardening, fishing, dancing and her dog, EMJ. Aide E. Castillo was born on December 29, 1951, in Wauseon, Ohio, the daughter of Rene and Aurora G. (Ramos) Castillo, Sr. Aide is survived by her daughters, Jamie Bastien, of Bryan, Jonelle (Tony) Bray, of Montpelier, Ohio, Roberta Lyons, of Bryan; her son, Robert Hulbert, of Detroit, Michigan; granddaughters, Jacqueline McKenzie, of Bryan, Anastazia Bray, of Montpelier, and Bayle Hill, of Bryan; great-grandchildren, Siana Gant, Kaednz Hill and Jaxen Deetz, all of Bryan; fiancé, Jamie Ely, of Bryan; sisters, Edith Kline, Lilia (James) Lucas and Nola (Ray) Johnson, all of Bryan; sister-in-law, Martha Castillo, of Mexico; and many loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sisters, Viola and Minika Castillo, and her brother, Rene Castillo, Jr. Funeral services for Aide E. Castillo will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at 6:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Father James Halleron officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00-6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, prior to the service. Memorial contributions are requested to the family.
