Sammi Lee Kunsman, age 58, of Bryan, Ohio, is now in his heavenly home, safe in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This was not his home; he was just passing through. Sammi passed into heaven on Monday, March 17, 2014, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center near Defiance, Ohio, after a long, hard fought battle with cancer. He was a 1974 graduate of Bryan High School. Mr. Kunsman was a realtor and auctioneer with Wilson Auction & Realty for over thirty years and attended the Bryan Gospel Tabernacle. Sammi Lee Kunsman was born on January 24, 1956, in Bryan, Ohio, the son of Charles U. and Alice Mae (Winters) Kunsman. He married Sandra Lee Bockert on November 25, 2009, in Bryan, and she survives. Sammi is also survived by his sons, Justin (Britni Sutton) Kunsman and Duane Kunsman, both of Bryan; stepson, Ric (Emilee) Roach, of Waterville, Ohio; grandchildren, Kaiden and Aubrey Kunsman, of Bryan; siblings, Sindi Stephens, of Bryan, Lee Wilson, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Cheryl Anderson, of Bryan; his mother, Alice Mae Wilson, of Bryan; and step-mother, Phyllis Kunsman, of Bryan. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles U. Kunsman, and a sister, Sherri Kunsman. A memorial service celebrating Sammi’s life will be held in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at 12:00 P.M. with Pastors Bud Yoder and Ray Knapp officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in Fountain Grove Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the family to help with medical expenses or to the Bryan Gospel Tabernacle.
