E. Nadine Coy, age 93, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at Genesis HealthCare-Bryan Center. Nadine retired after many years of service at Community Memorial Hospital in Hicksville, Ohio, as an LPN. Over the years, her memberships included the Hicksville First Church of Christ, First Baptist Church of Bryan, and a Life Member of VFW Auxiliary #2489 and she was a Community Memorial Hospital Auxiliary volunteer. Nadine was born on October 20, 1920, in Kingsport, Tennessee, the daughter of Clarence and Georgia (Defreece) Ketron. She married Albert Coy in 1940 and he preceded her in death in 1990. Nadine is survived by a son, Gordon (Judy) Coy, a granddaughter, LeAnn Schliesser, and a great-grandson, Max Schliesser, all of Bryan; sisters, Lois Corwin, of Defiance, Ohio, and Shirley (Don) Ridenour, of Hicksville; and a host of good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Mildred Daugherty, and brothers, Vernon and Ray. Nadine requested that no visitation or services be held. Burial will take place at Six Corners Cemetery near Hicksville. Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Community Health Professionals Hospice or First Baptist Church of Bryan.
