Kenneth A. Geiger, age 90, of Auburn, Indiana, and formerly of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 7:30 P.M. on Thursday, January 23, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he was a patient, after a brief illness. Mr. Geiger was a 1941 graduate of Edgerton High School and attended International Business College in Fort Wayne, receiving a degree in accounting. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II. For twenty-six years he was employed by ABC Coach Lines as an accountant and then by Casebere Motor Sales in Edgerton until his retirement in 1984. Kenneth A. Geiger was born on August 11, 1923, in Edgerton, the son of Otis and Mabel (Jones) Geiger. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Clarence and Gerald Geiger, and two sisters, Marie Metz and Beulah Roush. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, on Sunday, January 26, 2014, from 2:00-6:00 P.M. There will be no services and private interment will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton. Memorials are requested to the Veterans Administration.
