Daughter, sister, aunt and loving friend, Dawn M. Bauer, age 45, of Archbold, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013, in her parents’ home in Bryan. Dawn was a 1986 graduate of Montpelier High School and earned an Associate Degree in Business from the University of Findlay. She was employed by Sauder Woodworking Co. for over ten years. Dawn loved animals, gardening and the outdoors. She attended Grace Community Church in Bryan and had been a member of the Audubon Society. Dawn Marie Bauer was born July 31, 1968, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Gordon L. and Helen M. (Hall) Bauer. Dawn is survived by her parents, Gordon and Helen Bauer, of Bryan; two sisters, Diana (Jessie) Bauer-Grant, of Waco, Kentucky, and Ashley Bauer, of Montpelier; nephew, Justin Grant, of Evansville, Indiana; niece, Jessica Grant, of Waco, Kentucky; and her fur baby, Angel. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Christine Bauer; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Elsie Hall, and her fur babies, Alum and Oreo. Funeral services for Dawn will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013, at 5:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Pastor David Falls officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 P.M. on Friday, prior to the service. Private interment will take place at Riverview Memory Gardens in Defiance. Memorials in the name of Dawn M. Bauer may be given to the Susan G. Komen Fund or the Animal Rescue Facility of Montpelier.
