Brenda K. Rupert

Brenda K. Rupert, age 73, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away early Tuesday morning, August 20, 2013, at Evergreen Manor in Montpelier, Ohio. Brenda was a Dietary Clerk at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers for over 20 years and had previously worked as an Assignment Clerk at General Telephone. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bryan. Born February 7, 1940, in Fostoria, Ohio, she was the daughter of Earl and Eleanor (Nartker) Jacobs. Brenda was a 1958 graduate of Kalida High School. Brenda is survived by her daughters, Kathy Elam, of Bryan, and Brenda Lee (Joe, Jr.) Machado, of Ripon, California; grandchildren, Kate Elam, of Bryan, and Nathan Machado, of Ripon, California; her sister, Karen (Paul) Giesige, of Kalida, Ohio; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. At Brenda’s request, there will be no public visitation or services held. Arrangements are under the care of Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Memorials in the name of Brenda K. Rupert may be given to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
