Tanya D. Leslie, age 70, of Montpelier, Ohio, died Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Genesis Healthcare in Bryan. Tanya was a Registered Nurse having worked in Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin. She worked at the Odd Fellow’s and Rebecca’s Home in Jackson, Michigan, was the Director of Nursing at Harborside Healthcare in Bryan and Americare in Bryan. She was a 1961 graduate of Napoleon (Michigan) High School, the Borgess School of Nursing, where she earned her RN and Alverno College, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She attended the Victory Barn church and was a member of the Ohio and Michigan Nurses Associations. Tanya was born February 7, 1943 in Napoleon, Michigan, the daughter of Victor Keith & Virginia Pearl (Snider) Hawley. She married Dennis N. Leslie on March 6, 1998 in West Unity, Ohio, and he survives. Tanya is also survived by her daughter, Jodi (David) Blom, of Bryan; son, Chad Reger, of Montpelier; step-daughters, Vicki (Tim) Westfall, of Montgomery, Michigan, and Monica Sumner, of Montpelier; step-son, Joel Leslie, of Mark Center, Ohio; grandchildren, James Jackson, of Bryan, Andrew Jackson, serving in the United States Air Force in Japan, Kira Meldgaard, of Montpelier, Brad Reger, of Montpelier and Rachel Reger, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; 4 step grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren; sisters, Vicki Kalmbach, of Grass Lake, Michigan and Gayle Hawley, of Napoleon, Michigan; brother, Jay (Tonya) Hawley, of Napoleon, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents and a step grandson, Quinton Westfall. Visitation for Tanya D. Leslie will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 from 2:00-8:00 PM in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio 43506. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Rosene Short-Mosley officiating. Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery in Napoleon, Michigan will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday.
