Mary Catherene Reinhart, age 98, of rural Bryan, Ohio, died at 11:35 A.M. on Monday, May 20, 2013, in her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Reinhart was employed as a poultry cleaner by Pendletons for many years, helped her brother, John Hartman, extracting honey from his bees, and also was a seamstress for Hawk’s and a drape maker for Uhlmann’s in Bryan. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Edgerton, the Rosary Altar Society, and C L of C, in which she held most of the offices, and enjoyed playing the piano and was an avid card player. Mary Catherene Reinhart was born on July 1, 1914, in Antwerp, Ohio, the daughter of Theodore and Anna (Lucas) Wortkoetter. She married Lawrence L. Reinhart on February 15, 1936, in Hicksville, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on February 7, 2003. Survivors include three daughters, Virginia “Ginnie” Brenner, of Bryan, Ohio, Mary Lou (Cletus) Radabaugh, of Blakeslee, Ohio, and Dorthea Roeger, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two sons, Tony Reinhart and Rex Reinhart, both of Bryan, Ohio; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Jean Hartman, of Montpelier. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Radabaugh, one great-great-grandchild, a sister, Clara Marie Jerger, a stepsister, Marcella Stark, two stepbrothers, Jerome and Francis Hartman, two half brothers, John and Roy Hartman, and two sons-in-law, Tom Brenner and Bill Roeger. Services for Mary Catherene Reinhart will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Mary Catholic Church in Edgerton, Ohio, with Father David Cirata officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton, Ohio, after 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 23, 2013, with recitation of the rosary at 7:30 P.M. Memorials in the name of Mary Catherene Reinhart may be given to the St. Mary Catholic Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
