Clare L. Dilworth, age 86, of Camden, Michigan, died at 5:40 P.M. on Friday, May 10, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he was a patient. Mr. Dilworth worked at The Aro Corporation in Bryan for 25 years, where he was Supervisor of Technical Information. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, serving in the World War II Occupation Force as a Military Police officer in Italy. He was a member of the Pioneer VFW Post #8626, Hillsdale American Legion Post #53 and the Hillsdale VFW Post #7301, where he served as Post Commander for five years and Adjutant for one year. Clare was born on October 23, 1926, in Montpelier, Ohio, the son of Walter V. and Minnie E. (May) Dilworth. He married Elouise A. Taylor on July 1, 1963, in Angola, Indiana. Mr. Dilworth is survived by his wife, Elouise; son, Raymond (Melinda) Evers, of Montpelier; daughter, Janice (Jim) Jones, of Paulding; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a sister, Venetta Smith, of Bryan. Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Robert “Keith” Dilworth, and two sisters, Margaret Ruest and Arlene Faler. Grave side funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. at Floral Grove Cemetery, Pioneer, Ohio, with Pastor Brad Faler officiating. Military rites will be conducted by Bryan VFW Post #2489. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
