Nancy L. Kuszmaul, age 72, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2013, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Center in Bryan following an extended illness. Nancy retired as a press operator at the former Bryan Custom Plastics after many years of service. She was a member of the Lick Creek Church of the Brethren and the Montpelier Eagles and was a former member of the AMVETS. An avid racing and NASCAR fan, she used to drive in the Powder Puff races at Bryan Motor Speedway. Nancy was born on June 20, 1940, near Pioneer, Ohio, the daughter of Clyde M. and Ruth C. (Rosendaul) Kuszmaul. She is survived by her long time companion, Jack M. Devers, of Bryan; son, Steven (Susan) Stratton, of Lima, Ohio; daughters, Cynthia (Paul) Stratton-Chamberlain, of Troy, Ohio, and Sallie J. Stratton, of Dayton, Ohio; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Lois Stombaugh, of Bryan, and brothers, James (Betty) Kuszmaul, of Rochester, Michigan, and George (Betty) Kuszmaul, of Toledo, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Daniel and Richard Kuszmaul, Sr. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at 11:30 A.M. with visitation one hour prior to the service at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Pastor Nancy Berkheiser officiating. Memorials are requested to the family.
