Vincent C. Shull, age 80, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 5:27 P.M. on Saturday, March 9, 2013, shortly after admittance to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan. Mr. Shull retired as a foreman with Plastech in Bryan with twelve years of service and prior to that was employed at General Motors for eighteen years and the 50 + 5 Corporation in both West Unity, Ohio, and Jackson, Michigan, serving as general foreman or foreman in each employment. As a sportsman, he was an avid golfer, a bowler who once bowled a 300 game, was a member of the Bryan Lanes Hall of Fame, and for many years coached Little League in Bryan. He was also a former member of the Bryan Moose Lodge and was a Life Member of Bryan Eagles, Aerie #2233. To his family he was a devoted husband of sixty-two years and a loving father and grandfather. Vincent C. Shull was born on March 1, 1933, in Bryan, the son of William and Blanche (Bowers) Shull. He married Adlene M. West on July 30, 1950, in Bryan and she survives. Survivors also include three daughters, Charlene M. (Gary) Quidort, of Winter Garden, Florida, Deborah S. Pendleton, of Bryan, and Terrie Lynn (Ralph) Brown, of Charlotte, North Carolina; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one sister, Nora Jean Baker, of Valparaiso, Indiana. He was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Vincent Shull, and one sister, Phyllis Govin. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, from 1:00-3:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will follow in the funeral home at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, with Pastor George Kreger officiating. Memorials are requested to the David Betts Double Play Diamond Baseball Field or to Williams County Habitat for Humanity.
