Sarah Ann Bowdle, age 64, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 8:50 A.M. on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Parkview Region Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she was admitted on Saturday. Mrs. Bowdle was a licensed practical nurse and had worked as a dialysis nurse at St. Rita’s Hospital and Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima for many years, as well as with other dialysis centers. Most recently she was nursing manager with Evergreen Manor Nursing Center in Montpelier, Ohio. She was a longtime emergency medical technician while living in Delphos and Spencerville, Ohio. Sarah enjoyed fishing, garage sales, traveling, especially on the Harley, reading, making jewelry, and furniture refinishing and was also an accomplished bowler. Sarah Ann Bowdle was born on November 22, 1948, in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of George William and Florence E. "Tutty" (Berry) Tegenkamp. She was the widow of Jack E. White, and she married Don E. Bowdle on July 22, 2000, in Edgerton, and he survives. Survivors also include one daughter, Angela (Mike) Dziurgot, of Aurora, Colorado; one son, Aaron (Donna) White, of Lima; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Judy Cunningham, of Largo, Florida, Terry (Terry) Martin, of Payne, Ohio, and Rebecca (Tony) Campos, of Watsonville, California; and two brothers, Mark Tegenkamp, of Santa Cruz, California, and Rick (Gina) Tegenkamp, of Salinas, California. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013, from 2:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton. Services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, with Pastor Terry Martin officiating. Memorials are requested to a Humane Society of the donor’s choice.
