Debra Jean Severence, age 59, of Kunkle passed away Saturday morning, December 22, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. Debra worked at the Kunkle Post Office and was a member of the former Kunkle Fire Department Auxiliary. She was a devout Detroit Tigers and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Debra was born May 1, 1953 in Wauseon, Ohio, the daughter of Paul J. And Phyllis J. (Miller) Nelson. She married Roger D. Severence on July 16, 1976 in Bryan and he survives. In addition to her husband, Debra is survived by her sons, Benjamin (Hannah) Severence, of Wadsworth, Ohio, Tony (Kelly) Severence, of West Unity; daughter, Amber Jones, of Kunkle; five grandchildren; sister, Terry (Dan) Bauer, of Edon and brothers, Rick Nelson of Zephyr Hills, Florida and Bob Nelson of Lake Isabela, California. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Memorial Service for Debra will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in the Kunkle United Brethren Church with Pastors Ron Evans, Devon Strine and Darwin Dunten officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio 43506. Memorials in the name of Debra Severence may be given to the Humane Society or Hospice organization of the donor’s choice.
