Robert J. Saurer

Robert J. Saurer, age 47, of Edon, Ohio, died at 12:30 A.M. on Friday, December 14, 2012, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he was a patient. Mr. Saurer was last employed by Air-way Manufacturing in Edgerton, Ohio, and was an avid fisherman. Robert S. Saurer was born on October 3, 1965, in Bryan, Ohio, the son of Clinton Edward and Jean Lee (Jones) Saurer, Sr . Survivors include his mother, Jean L. (Harold) Underwood, of Bryan, Ohio; his fiancee, Laurie Steward, of Edon; one son, Robert J. Saurer, Jr., in Texas; two brothers, John Paul (Stacy) Saurer, of Montpelier, Ohio, and Clinton Edward (Lisa) Saurer, Jr., of Edgerton; two sisters, Marlene Lynn Saurer, of Hicksville, Ohio, and Tracy Jo (and fiancee, Steve Martinich) Manley, of Montpelier; one stepsister, Teresa Mae Risner, of Camden, Michigan; one stepbrother, Harold Underwood, Jr., of Bryan; and eight nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. At Robert’s request there will be no public visitation or service.
