Robert C. Fosburg, Sr., age 65, of Hamilton, Indiana, died at 4:10 A.M. on Sunday, December 2, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, after a brief illness. Mr. Fosburg was a longtime construction worker and joined the T.I. Group in Ashley, Indiana, in 1995, where he worked until his retirement in 2009. He was a former member of the Hamilton Fish and Game Club and enjoyed mowing the seven acres of grass on his fourteen acre “Ponderosa” near Hamilton. As a collector, he enjoyed collecting baseball cards and Avon beer steins. An avid fisherman, he also enjoyed watching old westerns and Nascar racing. Robert C. Fosburg, Sr. was born on June 10, 1947, in Lowell, Michigan, the son of Ora and Edith (Phillips) Fosburg. He married Judy A. Smith on November 15, 1985, in Fremont, Indiana, and she survives. Survivors also include two daughters, Vicki Fosburg, of Sistaville, Washington, and Peggy Fosburg, of Morenci, Michigan; two sons, Robert Fosburg, Jr., in Idaho, and Lloyd Waldrip, of Orlando, Florida; a stepdaughter, Kristina Edwards, of Edon; four brothers, Russell Fosburg, of Bashor, Kansas, Donald Fosburg, of Nashville, Michigan, Mark Fosburg, of Lowell, Michigan, and Jim Fosburg, of Ionia, Michigan; and four sisters, Teresa Meher, of Bradenton, Florida, Betty Miniker, of Hudson, Michigan, Janice Bursley, of Lake Odessa, Florida, and Joyce Starkweather, of Lowell, Michigan; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012, from 2:00-4:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, Ohio. Services will follow at 4:30 P.M. on Saturday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the American Lung Association or to the American Kidney Foundation.
