Dorothy Helen Mosier, age 82, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 1:30 P.M., on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at Bryan Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bryan. Dorothy worked at Spangler Candy Company for over 35 years, retiring April 30, 1992. She also co-owned Mo’s Bar and Restaurant in Ney and was a member of the Bryan Eagles Aerie #2233. Dorothy was born on February 3, 1930, in Van Wert, Ohio, the daughter of Elza and Vearl (Wise) Crowe. She married Carl W. Mosier on November 26, 1947, and he preceded her in death. Surviving are her sons, Jay Mosier, of Bryan, Mike (Connie) Mosier, of Bryan, Bruce (Susie) Mosier, of Ney, Tim (Deb) Mosier, of Defiance, and Jeffery Mosier, of Bryan; grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott) Tyrrell, Traci Mosier, Griff (Niki) Mosier, Matthew (Christy) Mosier, Jami Hulbert, Nathan (Jenn) Mosier, Adam Mosier, Dustin (Alicia) Mosier, Brock Mosier, Allen Mosier and Brandon Mosier; and seventeen great-grandchildren; and a niece they raised, Cindy (Haskell) Simpkins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and five sisters. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Services will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Snavely officiating. Interment will follow in Ney Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the hospice organization of the donor’s choice.
