Darrell "Punkin" McKinsey

Darrell “Punkin” McKinsey, age 50, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 10:08 A.M. on Friday, November 23, 2012, shortly after admittance to Community Hospital and Wellness Centers in Bryan. Darrell was a 1980 graduate of Lima Senior High School and worked as a production assemblyman at C. E. Electronics. He was an avid fisherman and attended Life Changing Realities Fellowship in Edgerton, Ohio. Darrell “Punkin” McKinsey was born on May 20, 1962, in Lima, Ohio, the son of Otis and Georgia (Dawson) McKinsey. Survivors include five brothers, John (Tracy) McKinsey, of Paulding, Ohio, Otis (Guadalupe) McKinsey, Jr., of West Unity, Ohio, Randall Harris, of Lima, Ohio, Earl Green, in Georgia, and Joshua McKinsey, of Middle Point, Ohio; one sister, Nicole Harris, of Lima; his children, Dairell, Maria and Ashleigh McKinsey, all of Lima, and Z. G. Perry, of Bryan; five grandchildren; and his girlfriend, Kelly Mitchell, of Bryan. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Tyrone McKinsey, and two sisters, Pamela McKinsey and Phyliss Dawson. Funeral services for Darrell will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012, at 4:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Pastor Scott Carlin officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
