Patricia D. Huard

Patricia D. Huard, age 76, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at 12:15 A.M. at her residence. In addition to raising eight children, she worked for several years at Vistron and Plastec in Edon, Ohio, and 50 Corp in Bryan, Ohio; worked in sales at Tom’s Fireworks and then as a waitress in several area restaurants, including the Holiday Inn/Ramada at Holiday City and the Holidome in Fort Wayne. Patricia enjoyed playing golf, bowling, lake and ocean activities--especially riding Sea-Doos, reading, puzzles, traveling and playing slot machines. Born December 28, 1935, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of James F. and Evelyn B. (Roy) Siebenaler. She was raised in Edon and worked on the family farm there. She had attended school in Blakeslee and Edon, Ohio. Patricia is survived by her sons, Darrell (Marcella) Huard, of Bryan, Danny Huard of Ney, Ohio, Don (Lois) Huard, of Monroeville, Indiana, and Jim (Diane) Huard of Montpelier; her daughters, Denise (Brad) Bruot, of Bryan, Sandy (Donny) Miller, of Stryker, Ohio, and Patricia (Jason Wolf) Huard, of Fort Wayne; 32 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a brother, James (Carolyn) Pallick, of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Michael Huard. Funeral services for Patricia D. Huard will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012, at the Krill Funeral Home, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon, Ohio 43518 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Byron Adams officiating. Interment will follow the service at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Blakeslee. Visitation will be held Friday, November 16, 2012, from 2:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Patricia’s name be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
