Lorraine Goebel, age 71, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 9:50 A.M. on Sunday, November 11, 2012, at the home of her son. Ms. Goebel was a 1959 graduate of Edgerton High School and had worked at Fleetwood Industries in Edgerton for nearly thirty years until the plant closed and then at Air-Way Manufacturing. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Edgerton, was an avid reader, and enjoyed putting together puzzles, knitting, collecting things and playing cards. Lorraine Goebel was born on December 22, 1940, in Edgerton, the daughter of Raymond A. and E. Irene (Fritz) Goebel. She is survived by her son, Mark (Theresa) Goebel, of Montpelier, three grandchildren, Chase, Hunter and Meadow Goebel, and three sisters, Dorothy (Bill) Welch, of Detroit, Michigan, Evelyn Radabaugh and Nora Goebel, both of Edgerton, and a sister-in-law, Redith Goebel, of Edgerton. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Mervin Goebel, and a brother-in-law, Marvin Radabaugh. Visitation will be held in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, from 4:00-800 P.M. on Thursday, November 15, 2012. Recitation of the rosary will be held on Thursday at 7:30 P.M. in the funeral home. Services will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Mary Catholic Church with Father David Cirata officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorials are requested to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers Hospital Hospice or to St. Mary Church.
