Eugenia Zup, age 100, of Bryan, Ohio and formerly of Cleveland, died Sunday, November 11, 2012, at 1:15 A.M., at Dream Haven, in Edgerton where she was a resident. She had been a homemaker and provided volunteer respite care for the elderly and others in need in the Cleveland area for many years. She moved to Bryan in 1992 and volunteered at the CWU Thriftshop. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church at the corner of US 6 and 66 south of Archbold. Eugenia was born February 15, 1912 in Lodz, Prussia (now part of Poland), the daughter of Ivan Ivanovich & Zuzanna (Deiter) Zacharov. She emigrated to the United States in 1927 and married Julius K. Zup. Eugenia is survived by her son, Rev. Lanny (Bonnie) Zup of Bryan; grandchildren, Andrew (Mary) Zup, Dr. Susan (Dr. Jay Reiss) Zup, Keith (Laura) Von Zup, Karla Von Zup, Rick (Pam) Von Zup, Kirk (Amie) Von Zup; sixteen great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son and daughter-in-law, Richard (Marcella) Von Zup. A memorial observance will be held Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John Lutheran Church at US 6 and 66. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Krill Funeral Home at 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Memorial contributions in memory of Eugenia may be sent to the St. John Lutheran Church
