Charley Jr. Jones

Charley Jr. Jones, age 61, of Montpelier, Ohio, died at 3:35 P.M. on Saturday, October 20, 2012, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Hospital in Toledo after a brief illness. Mr. Jones was employed by IAC in Wauseon, Ohio, for the last nine years and prior to that was employed by Robinair in Montpelier for thirty-one years. He was a lifelong member of the Montpelier Eagles and enjoyed playing cards, eating popcorn, and watching Nascar. Charley Jr. Jones was born on March 31, 1951, in Bryan, Ohio, the son of Charley and Joan (Wilcox) Jones. Survivors include his wife of twenty-eight years, Sue Ann (Gutierrez) Jones; two daughters, Wendy (Kenny) Jones, of Montpelier, and Chrissie (Bryan) Hamblin, of Bryan, Ohio; one son, Chad Jones, of Marion, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Tianna and Larrand Jones, of Montpelier. Also surviving are one brother, Larry (Marie) Jones, of Bryan; two sisters, Pat (Jean) Jones, of Montpelier, and Jean (Harold) Underwood, of Bryan; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Roger Jones. Charley’s requests were to have no visitation or services, to remember him in spirit, and to support his family during this time. Memorials are requested to the family.
