Tyrone G. Jackson, age 75, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 1:01 A.M. on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at his residence. Mr. Jackson was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Williams Center and the Farm Bureau and had been active with the Kidney Foundation. He actively followed local high school sports, mainly football and basketball. Tyrone G. Jackson was born on August 24, 1937, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the son of Warren D. and Burline (Burley) Jackson. He married Diana Kroeckel and she preceded him in death. Survivors include two daughters, Dr. Tonya Jackson, of Pineville, Louisiana, and Twyla (Ken) Starrett, of Newbury, Ohio; three stepchildren, Stephanie (Brent) Damman, of Napoleon, Ohio, Stacey (Gary) Nungester and Scott (Carolyn) Stambaugh, both of Bryan; nine grandchildren, Markus Jackson-Howard, of Pineville, Louisiana, Robert and Jacob Starrett, both of Newbury, Ohio, Justin (Haley) Damman, of Liberty Center, Ohio, Jenalee (Kyle) Niese, of New Bavaria, Ohio, Spencer Kaiser, of Blakeslee, Ohio, Candace Kaiser, Jordan Stambaugh and Faith Stambaugh, all of Bryan; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Mardell (Rheeta) Jackson, of Antwerp, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Jackson, his parents and a son, Tony Jackson. Visitation for Tyrone G. Jackson will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012, from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor Ruth Carter-Crist officiating. Interment will follow in Farmer Cemetery near Farmer, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Kidney Foundation, Muscular Dystrophy Association or Calvary United Methodist Church.
