Claire “C.J.” Stiltner, age 67, of Montpelier, Ohio, died on Thursday, September 6, 2012, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan, where she had been a patient. She worked as a server at Shaffer’s Restaurant in Bryan for twelve years before retiring. She was a member of the Eastland Baptist Church and loved playing bingo and card games. Claire was born on May 3, 1945, in Michigan City, Indiana, the daughter of Michael and Rose (Cogan) Hudock. She lived the majority of her life in Chicago, Illinois. She met Bobby G. Stiltner in Virginia in 1982 and they were married in Bryan on March 20, 1993. Claire is survived by her husband; daughter, Marci Jackson and significant other, Tyson Bailey, of Montpelier; stepdaughters, Laura Robinette, Karen (David) Orfield and Tina (William) Childress, all of Virginia; step-grandchildren, Jacob and Makayla Bailey, of Montpelier, Christopher Herndon, Clint Robinette, Jessica (C.C.) Booher and Dylan Robinette, all of Virginia; step-great grandson, Christopher Booher; brother, Michael (Susan) Hudock, Jr., of California; and sisters, Carol (Dean) Kaltsos, of Illinois, Lindy (Al) Elvin, of California, and Joyce Hudock, of Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Donna Rodriquez. A service for Claire “C.J.” Stiltner will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 15, 2012, at the Eastland Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Sheldon officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials are requested to the family.
