Fredrick Richard Binning III, age 54, of Ashley, Indiana, died on Monday, September 3, 2012, in his home. Mr. Binning was a 1975 graduate of Troy, Michigan, High School and graduated from Western Michigan University in 1979. Over the years he has held several positions of employment, including being a corrections officer at CCNO, and most recently was employed by the Salvation Army in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was an avid woodworker and reader and enjoyed a special interest in Native American culture. Fredrick Richard Binning III was born on October 9, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Fredrick Richard and Patricia Ann (Pufka) Binning, Jr. He married Kasey Quigley on November 17, 1979, in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and she survives. Also surviving are his parents, of Macomb, Michigan; one son, Richard Brayton (Olivia) Binning, of Astoria, New York; two daughters, Sarah Ann (Bryan Cassell) Binning, of Salem, Massachusetts, and Kara Lynne Binning, of Ypsilanti, Michigan; and two brothers, Bruce (Lynn) Binning, of Chesterfield, Michigan, and Stephen Binning, of Ann Arbor, Michigan. A memorial service celebrating the life of Fredrick Richard Binning III will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at 1:30 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with Father Gary Ferguson officiating. Interment will be in Eddy Cemetery near Hamilton, Indiana. Memorials are requested to the Salvation Army.
