Lillian M. Bible, age 88, of Bryan, Ohio, and formerly of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 7:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 4, 2012, in her home after an extended illness. Mrs. Bible was a 1941 graduate of Edgerton High School and worked at Mast Department Store, which then became Dancer’s Department Store, Ames Department Store and Franz Nursery. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Bryan, where she was a member of the Serendipity Circle, and was previously a member of the Edgerton United Methodist Church for fifty-three years. She was also a former member of the Sodom Grange. Lillian M. Bible was born on November 3, 1923, in Edgerton, Ohio, the daughter of Franklin E. and Eva Blanche (Pollock) Weber. She married Earl L. Bible on December 14, 1941, in Delta, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on October 19, 2011. Surviving are five children, Jean (Eugene) Darby and Sharon (Bob) Crowe, both of Montpelier, Ohio, Richard (Sandra) Bible, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Connie (Eric) Jacob, of Lexington, Kentucky, and Randy (Susan) Bible, of Bryan; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; four sisters, Arlyn Meyer, of Edgerton, Gladys Skiles, of Edon, Ohio, Bettie Groff, of Edgerton, and Mary Wright, of Huntington, Indiana; and three step-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Russel, Donald, Paul and Jerry Weber. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor Jeff Motter officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Montpelier. Memorials are requested to Wesley United Methodist Church, Edgerton United Methodist Church or the CHWC Train Project.
