Dorothy May Morris

Dorothy May Morris, age 87, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 10:20 P.M. on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, shortly after admittance to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan, Ohio. Mrs. Morris had worked as a clerk at the Newberry’s store in Coldwater, Michigan and then was a longtime employee of Coldwater Optical from where she retired.. Dorothy May Morris was born on December 26, 1924, in Coldwater, Michigan, the daughter of Clarence R. and Pauline J. (Otis) Morris. She grew up with two sisters, Lucille Sweet and Helen (Robert) Knight, and one brother, Lawrence Morris. Survivors include her daughter, Kathy (Scott) Myers, of Edgerton; two grandchildren, Patricia Myers, of Edon, Ohio, and Heather (Tim) Mocherman, of Montpelier, Ohio; five great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Services and interment will be private.
